Medicare, the Elderly and Telemedicine

There is good news regarding Medicare as the Coronavirus response bill recently passed by the Senate covers telemedicine for Medicare providers and patients. "To protect public health, the bill will allow Medicare providers to extend telemedicine services to seniors regardless of where they live, at an estimated cost of $500 million." said in a statement released early this week.

The elderly are some of the highest risk patients and we must take extra precautions with them.
